Magnolia's first trip to the dentist

Today was Magnolia's first trip to the dentist. We were a little nervous going in, but she behaved wonderfully! We could not have asked for more. Tanya, the dental hygienist (in the picture below), was great. She knew how to make a kid comfortable in the weird setting of the dentist chair. She didn't rush Magnolia at all, and there was never a really tense moment. Magnolia went along with everything.

We got an official Dental Report of "Super 1st Check-Up!" Apparently her teeth are doing very well, and there are no cavities in sight. We got to see x-rays of her adult teeth, lurking just beneath the surface, below her current front teeth. We also got a tooth count on her: 20 teeth. Also, she has a "Class I bite!", which means no overbite or underbite. So good stuff there.

We are very fortunate to have a daughter who behaves so nicely at age 5 on her first visit to the dentist.
